To maintain world-class standards of safety, convenience, and modern aesthetic elegance, the Shun Tak Centre Terminal Management Office, in collaboration with the Marine Department, has initiated a series of infrastructure upgrades across Floors Ground, 1, 2, and 3. This project is scheduled to run in phases to minimize passenger inconvenience.
1. Upgrade Objectives & Timeline
The modernization work comprises structural renovations, integration of high-fidelity dynamic signage, escalator renewals, and enhanced climate control systems. Phase 1 (focusing on Level 3 Departure Gates) will commence on May 25, 2026, and is projected to conclude by August 15, 2026.
2. Boarding Gate Layout Modifications
During the renovation period, structural partitions will be erected on Level 3. Please note the following critical adjustments:
- **Gates 1 to 5:** Will remain fully operational with minor passenger corridor narrowings. Please follow the safety markers.
- **Gates 6 to 10:** Will be temporarily closed for deep-layer HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) overhaul. All sailings previously scheduled at these gates have been reassigned.
- **Gates 11 to 15:** Operational areas have been expanded to accommodate reassigned TurboJet and Cotai Water Jet departures. Double-check your boarding pass and terminal display boards for real-time gate reassignments.
3. Accessibility & Corridor Guidance
Directional signage has been updated in both English and Chinese. Customer service ambassadors in navy uniforms are stationed at main escalators on Level 2 and Level 3 to assist with passenger routing. Elevator services connecting MTR Exit D, Level G baggage drop, and Level 3 ticketing will remain fully functional.
